The Eqaluit Ilua farm is located in Sermilik Fjord north of Narsaq.
Potatoes are planted in April and May, and initial harvests are in mid-August.
The variety of potato planted is called Solist.
Eqaluit Ilua raises approximately 50 tons of potatoes every year,
easily making it Greenland's leading potato producer.
Potatoes can be purchased in retail chains and in Greenland's Brugsen supermarkets.
